The Busy Mom's Summer Nutrition Workshop
How to Feed Yourself Well When the Kids Are Home and Life is Chaos
Thursday, May 28th | Free | On Zoom
5pm PT / 6pm MT / 7pm CT / 8pm ET
You love your kids. But summer kind of wrecks you.
The schedule disappears. The routine is gone. Suddenly you're making three meals a day for everyone else and completely forgetting to actually feed yourself.
You're grabbing their leftover goldfish crackers. Drinking cold coffee. Skipping lunch because you blinked and it's 3pm. And then you wonder why you're exhausted, bloated, craving everything in sight by 7pm, and feeling the lack of energy.
Here's the truth: most moms aren't struggling because they lack motivation or desire. They're struggling because nobody taught them what their body needs and how to make it simple enough to stick to.
That's what this workshop is for.
This summer is not going to be like last summer.
You don't need a strict meal plan. You don't need to overhaul your kitchen or spend Sunday meal prepping like a Food Network contestant.
You simply need to understand what your body is asking for, why it needs it, and how to make it happen on a chaotic Tuesday in July when the kids are home and you haven't thought about lunch yet.
That's exactly what we're covering.
Here's what you'll learn:
Why protein is the thing you're probably missing most
Most women are getting maybe half the protein their body actually needs. We're going to talk about why that matters; for your energy, your cravings, your metabolism, and how you feel in. Then I'm going to give you my simple formula, so you know exactly how much to aim for at each meal and snack without tracking every bite or overthinking it.
Why fiber is the missing piece most moms ignore
Fiber is one of the most overlooked tools for feeling fuller longer, reducing cravings, and keeping your digestion on track. I'll break down why it matters and give you simple ways to weave more fruits and vegetables into your day, including options your kids might actually eat too.
Why whole foods change how you feel from the inside out
There's a reason you feel better when you eat real food and worse when you don't. We're going to talk about what whole foods actually do for your energy and blood sugar, and I'll show you a simple way to look at your plate so you can build a more balanced meal without needing a recipe or a plan.
How to stay hydrated without being obsessed with it
Most moms are chronically dehydrated and don't even realize it. We'll cover why hydration affects everything from energy to hunger to your skin, and I'll share some simple ways to make it easier to drink enough.
You'll walk away with:
A simple protein formula you can use starting tomorrow
A new way to look at your plate that takes the guesswork out of building a balanced meal
Quick wins and simple swaps you can actually use this summer
A clear understanding of why you've been feeling off and what to do about it
"If you told me 2 months ago, that I would be seeing and feeling my body healing from the inside out, I would have told you that you are 'crazy'. I feel fantastic! I am super excited and I just wanna give you a huge shout out and thank you."
— Danielle
What one mom said after working together:
This is for you if...
You want to feel good in your body this summer but you're not sure where to start
You're feeding everyone else but running on empty yourself
You know you need to eat better but the how feels overwhelming
You're tired of every summer feeling like a nutrition free-for-all
You want real education, not just another list of recipes
This is NOT for you if...
You're looking for a quick fix or crash diet
You want a complicated plan with color coded spreadsheets
You're not willing to make even small changes to how you eat
You want to eat processed junk food all summer long and continue to feel exhausted
Meet Kristin
I'm Kristin Wierenga, founder of Cedar & Sage Co. I live on a farm with sheep, a garden, and a reading pile that is mostly smut novels. I nerd out over ancestral nutrition and I genuinely believe that real food has the power to change how you feel from the inside out.
I teach women the WHY behind food. Not just what to eat, but why your body responds the way it does when you eat it. Because when you understand the why, the how actually sticks.
Here's what I know for sure: we are swimming upstream in a food culture that does not support us. Junk food is everywhere. Convenience food is designed to be addictive. And busy moms are the most vulnerable to all of it because we are exhausted and we do not have time to think.
My job is to help you figure out how to eat well in real life; not in a perfect world, not on a cleanse, not starting Monday. Right now, in the chaos you are already living in.
Save your seat. It's free.
